Trinity Motors is one of the few truly independent local family owned businesses left in the motor trade.  Trinity Motors employs close to 150 staff and is one of Leicestershire’s biggest retailers.   We are located in Hinckley in Leicestershire 13 miles from the centre of Coventry with a drive time of 28 mins, and 15 miles from the centre of Leicester with a drive time of 30 mins.

Over the last four decades we have progressively enhanced our motor retail product portfolio, and have built, acquired and developed new facilities and premises to improve our services.

Trinity Motors fundamental objective is to deliver a truly pleasurable service to all of our customers. Our service is measured by our customers, through the Land Rover, Mazda and Hyundai’s Customer Satisfactions index (CSI). Trinity top the region for Hyundai, Land Rover and Mazda.

Reputation, heritage and pedigree are important to us and our Chairman Bob Woodward founded Trinity Motors 45 years ago with two employees in a small garage the middle of Hinckley. The company then purchased bigger premises on Coventry Road about a mile from our current Coventry Road home, and acquired the British Leyland Franchise. Then in 1982 Trinity Motors purchased its current 16-acre site and building work began. By the late 80’s the business had continued to develop with employees rising to around 100.

The 90’s saw the building of Trinity House, which was designed and built to house our corporate parts operation. Trinity’s in house engineering company Power Train Projects was formed in 1995 to supply small vehicle Manufactures with engines, gearbox's and installation kits. These included Lotus, TVR, Morgan and Caterham to name just a few, and in 1999 Trinity Motors opened its new Land Rover building.

In 2004 Trinity Added the Mazda Franchise, in 2005 Trinity Motors were one of the first independent Dealer Groups in the UK to be awarded Ford Parts Distributor status. Trinity also achieved Ford Independent Service in February 2006.  November 2006 saw the addition of the Hyundai Franchise to its portfolio.

By 2006 Trinity Motors were retailing in excess of 1,300 new and used vehicles from its site on Coventry Road, and to bring the picture up to date, in 2007 Richard Nikolic Managing Director and Ian Judge Finance Director completed a management MBI.
