Even more car buyers in Hinckley and Nuneaton can now discover the advantages of owning a Mazda, following the Government’s recent decision to extend the terms of the scrappage scheme to allow V registration cars to qualify – namely those vehicles registered on or before 29 February 2000.
The extension has caused a renewed surge in motorists taking advantage of Mazda’s enhanced scrappage offers ranging from £2,000 to £6,000 at Trinity Motors, and the Coventry Road-based dealership is expecting the popularity of the scheme to continue to grow now eligibility has widened.
“We are really pleased to now be able to accommodate even more Mazda Scrappage customers at the showroom who are keen to take advantage of the new rules,” says Tim Hearnden at Trinity Motors “Together with the enhanced scrappage deals offered by Mazda, it is much more affordable for motorists in Hinckley and Nuneaton, who qualify for the scheme, to own a safer, more eco-friendly car than ever before. As a result, our local road network continues to become increasingly populated with cleaner, more reliable cars.”
The Mazda2 and Mazda3 have proved to be extremely popular model choices for customers trading in their older cars at Trinity Motors, attracted by impressive fuel economy, generous levels of specification, high safety levels and low tax banding.
Mazda2 models are available to purchase under the new terms of the Government-backed scrappage scheme, with a Mazda Allowance of £1,000, in addition to the £1,000 government contribution – so Mazda2 ownership can start at just £7,295.
Visitors to the Trinity Motors have a choice of three petrol and two diesel powertrains, three generous equipment levels (TS, TS2 and Sport) – all with either three-door and five-door hatchback body styles.
Alternatively, all new Mazda3 models are available to purchase under the scheme with an increased Mazda Allowance of £2,000, in addition to the £1,000 government contribution – so Mazda3 ownership can start at just £10,500.
Fitted with Mazda’s i-stop technology, the new Mazda3 2.0 Sport delivers fuel economy improvements of up to 16 percent (combined cycle) over the previous equivalent model, with CO2 emissions reduced by up to 19 percent.
Customers trading in a car of nine years old or more for a new Mazda can benefit from savings of £2,000 minimum up to £6,000 maximum on some models at Trinity Motors.
